THE STORY

The kite catches the wind at last. She stops running backward, delighted by the bright shape climbing above the grass.

She passes you the spool, closing her fingers over yours to show how the line should move. The pull is stronger than you expected. As the kite rises, she rests her head briefly against your shoulder to follow its angle.

Raspberry gives BAHER a bright, tart sweetness among full, soft flowers. Peony is delicate and rounded; jasmine and magnolia bring a richer bloom around the fruit.
